FAQ's
Trade Zen is the only platform where you can access a curated selection of signal providers, that have been meticulously backtested in order to validate their quality and consistency. No more sham traders, with no track record, trying to sell an often fake “luxury lifestyle” on social media to attract members and ultimately lose people money. Trade Zen is bringing a professional and grown-up approach to a market littered with bad actors!
Trade Zen not only saves its members a vast amount of time, it also gives the benefit of significant financial savings. Trading signal providers typically sell their service in one of two ways, either via membership fees, which for the most expensive providers can reach into the £1000’s+ per year. Or through signing up to use their service via their preferred broker, which they will then receive commission for over time. With the latter approach, you must keep using that partner broker consistently in order to maintain access to the signals. With Trade Zen, we cut out all of this for you. On our platform, you can access a curated selection of premium trading signals, from a range of providers meticulously tested by us, which independently would cost you thousands of pounds a year to access! All without any restrictions on specific broker usage or minimum trade volumes or frequency. You can trade as often as you want with as much or as little as you want, without any restriction. No other signals provider comes close to what Trade Zen offers its members in this regard.
In order to maintain the highest possible quality bar on our platform, we relentlessly research and backtest traders offering signals (using Forex.com, myfxbook & MT4 among other platforms) to ensure only those with the best track record of success and highest profitability rates make our grade. What this looks like practically, is trawling back through a minimum of 1, but in some cases as many as 5 years’ worth of trading signals for each provider we assess and testing them for success and overall profitability rates. This gives us a clear indication of their genuine quality, consistency and trade “hit rate” over a long period of time. There is nowhere to hide with this kind of stringent testing process and only the very best traders, who are consistently profitable over time can make it through.

This is totally up to you and your appetite to risk and risk management strategy. Our recommendation though and the general risk management approach of our team at Trade Zen, would be to never risk more than 0.25% - 2% of your total portfolio value on any single trade, depending on your appetite to risk. Sensible risk management is a key element to successful and consistently profitable trading over time. Better to see consistent smaller wins, than big wins, but even bigger losses.
This is highly variable and completely driven by the markets, economic news and world events etc. Days with more economic or geopolitical events will always mean greater volatility in the markets and thus more signals, compared to days where the markets are flatter and there will be less opportunities for good trades. The best traders never force trades for the sake of it, just because they feel they ought to. Managing emotion in this regard is another key component to consistently successful trading over time. That being said, as Trade Zen is a platform that hosts signals from multiple providers, it is highly unlikely that there will be any days where no signals are sent out.
Part of Trade Zen’s goal to providing a curated selection of the world’s best trading signals, also means us targeting and assessing traders with specialist focus in certain markets. As a result, our platform hosts signals from expert traders that specialise (often exclusively) in markets such as; Foreign Exchange, Precious Metals, Cryptocurrency, Commodities and Indices. We also have signals that cover all global market sessions; US, Europe & Asia.
There is some variation in win rate between the different signal providers hosted on our platform, but to maintain our quality bar at such a high level, we will only host signals from providers that achieve a 70% or higher win rate during our backtesting. This being said whilst win rate is a good indicator of a trader’s overall quality, there is more to be considered when making a thorough assessment of performance. Profitability ultimately trumps all and if a trader can successfully cut their losing trades short, but let their winners run, then they can still achieve significant profitability, even with a lower overall win rate.
Much like choosing the size of trades you make, choosing a leverage ratio to use links to your appetite to risk and your risk management strategy. The temptation is often to go for a higher leverage ratio as greater leverage means greater potential gains and with some brokers offering leverage of up to 1:1000+, this can be a tempting prospect. Greater leverage however also means greater risk of exponential losses and you can even end up losing more money than you had in the first place. At Trade Zen, our team tends to take a moderate to conservative approach to risk management and we would never recommend a beginner trader uses leverage of more than 1:25. As you become more experienced and confident as a trader, you can then increase that leverage ratio in line with your risk appetite.
When using our signals service, you will see that a large proportion of our signals come with take profit (TP) figures listed. This is the point where it is recommended you close the trade and take your profits. In some cases, you will see signals that have multiple take profit points (TP’s 1, 2 & 3), in cases like this the recommended approach is to close 25% of the trade at TP1, a further 50% of the trade at TP2 and then close the final 25% of the trade at TP3. Using this kind of incremental approach, you are guaranteeing yourself profits and insuring against market volatility. With this approach if a signal were to reach take profit points 1 & 2, before a market reversal sees It return to its entry point, you have still achieved profits, rather than ending the trade with nothing.
Much like take profit points, our signals will with guidance on where to set your stop loss (SL). This stop loss value is key in you calculating your trade size, based upon your risk appetite and risk management approach.
No. You will never experience any additional charges outside of the membership fee. No VIP content or special additional channels or signals for an extra cost. Just a flat and transparent membership fee structure, that grants you access to everything on the Trade Zen platform.
This varies from time to time. As we always strive to maintain the highest possible quality bar for our members, we are constantly assessing the ongoing performance of the traders who’s signals we host on the platform as well as constantly scouring the market for new traders that meet our quality bar, to add to the platform. As a result, the number of different trader’s signals appearing on the platform will fluctuate from time to time. Given our commitment to providing signals from experts in a range of specific markets however, there will never be less than 5-6 different traders signals being hosted on the platform at any time.
A stop loss is a risk management tool based on a price you set when entering a trade, designed to limit your potential loss on the position. If the stop loss price is reached, your trade will automatically close, thus limiting your losses from reaching any higher than you are happy to risk.
